Fat Quarter Giveaway with Shabby Fabrics!
Back in November last year, we gave everyone a sneak-peek at the debut of Bruno Lamy’s Mas d’Ousvan boutis fabric collection.
This month, we’re back with some very exciting news. The wonderful people of Shabby Fabrics are hosting a giveaway, and we’ve got the details on how to enter. Quilting enthusiasts, you’re in luck!
What is Mas d’Ousvan?
Here’s Bruno’s story on the creation of Mas d’Ousvan:
After ten years work of designing block-printed fabrics, I wanted to explore the delicate atmosphere of fine, old mansions, hidden in the mysterious landscapes of France. Thus, Mas d’Ousvan was launched in 2001, offering softer tones compared to the flamboyant colors of my block-printed linen collections across napkins and host of other kitchenware.
Mas d’Ousvan draws inspiration from old-world French designs, as well as printed textiles from India known in France as Les Indiennes. These nostalgic styles, which have been carefully conserved in textile workshops since the 17th century, can still be discovered here and there in the old chateaus and fine mansions of our lovely France.
With Mas d’Ousvan, I seek to pass on the soft memories of our secret resting places. Images of the delicate and precious atmosphere of the traditional farmhouses and villages of beautiful Provence invade my drawing board. Swamped with all these memories, I create new patterns or adapt an old design steeped in nostalgia. Beauty and Romance are the two young muses of this collection, filled with everlasting charm.
Lovely, isn’t it? It sounds like the dream of an artist, filled with old romance and beauty.
Shabby Fabrics’ Fat Quarter Giveaway
There are over 100 different prints in the Boutis collection, but Shabby Fabrics has arranged 7 beautiful fat quarter sets––if I could quilt, I’d definitely get the Morning Sky Set (but, alas!).
This month, Shabby Fabrics is giving away a fat quarter set to three lucky winners. There are multiple ways to enter the giveaway:
- Leave a comment on Shabby Fabrics’ giveaway post with a link to your favorite fabric (or FQ set) from this collection and how you would use it.
- Share Shabby Fabrics’ blog post and giveaway on Facebook or Twitter, and leave a comment on their page to let them know you’ve done so.
The giveaway ends in one week, so there’s not much time to enter! Take a look at the Boutis collection here, then head over to the Shabby Fabrics blog to enter the giveaway!
