A Video Journey Through Marché de Cucuron - Provence's Most Charming Market

One of Provence's very best moments occurs on Tuesday mornings in a village in the southern Luberon region. The village is anchored by its beautiful bassin, around which 200-year old plane trees tower, and in which an impressive gathering of ornamental fish flourish. The bassin itself dates back to the 15th century and the village market to the 19th. The pond is fed by Luberon mountain springs and is a protected site today.

Discover a wide variety of offerings at Cucuron's market - from olive wood/hand-carved wonders to lavender and soaps, olives and tapenades, seasonal fruit and vegetables, baskets galore, cheeses and charcuterie...and the list continues on.
